Nintendo's E3 2014 Digital Event also included a trailer for Bayonetta 2. The first installment was well regarded for its stylized and over the top action. It appears that the sequel will be every bit as crazy as you might expect. Check it out:
Bayonetta is the type of game where the shit gets very real indeed. The boss battles are creative and intense and the surrounding plot goes to absurd heights in wonderful, smile-inducing ways. The somewhat campy dialogue only adds another layer of madness. The end result is a memorable experience that left many clamoring for more. Based on what I've seen so far, it looks like Bayonetta 2 is going to deliver. It certainly doesn't hurt that the game is going to be bundled with the original:
This has already received a lot of praise, and for good reason! Including the original game is a brilliant move, and something I'd love to see more of moving forward.
While it may not be the most mainstream title covered in Nintendo's Digital Event, Bayonetta 2 (coming exclusively to the Wii U on December 31, 2014) is definitely an anticipated title and I'm glad that it looks so promising thus far.
