Amazon Exclusive Transformers Unicron In Box from SDCC 2011

UPDATE: Unicron is now available for purchase at Amazon! Check it out HERE

The upcoming Amazon.com Exclusive Transformers Unicron figure has been shown in box at the SDCC 2011 Hasbro Booth. Lots of interesting tidbits lie within!

First, the included mini-con is now named Kranix. This is an homage to the sole surviving Lithonian from the intro of 1986's Transformers: The Movie, and serves to greatly enhance the commemorative appeal of this Unicron. 2011 is of course the 25th anniversary of that film, and this release is Hasbro's way of tipping their hat.

Second...well, there's the box art. UH. It's quite odd, with a slight live-action movieverse feel, and an expression I can only describe as "cold toilet face." Yeah. I don't even.

Finally, the box quite naturally shows off Unicron's bio! Check it out:

Trolls the universe, does he? Heh.

If you're interested in this 25th Anniversary Unicron, expect him to hit Amazon.com sometime this fall.

Thanks to TFW2005 for the images and initial coverage!
