Weekly Want - Generations Thundercracker, LEGO Star Wars, & More!

Dolla dolla bill.

Ahoy there! Last time on the Weekly Want, we took a look at Sideshow Premium Format Deadpool, Masterpiece Star Saber, and several other fun upcoming toys. Now, let's move on to some of this week's newly revealed wallet fodder!

Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format Batgirl figure is now available for Pre-Order. Shipping in July of 2015, this is a wonderfully sculpted piece that will make for a great display. As with all of Sideshow's items, the hefty $400 price tag can be taken care of via smaller monthly installments.

Figma Samus from the ever popular Metroid video game series is being re-released. Of course, this is a great opportunity for those that missed out before. The $40 price tag may be too much for some, but the figure is a must-have by most accounts.

Over in the alluring world of LEGO Star Wars, a new Slave-1 release has been revealed. I really love the Han Solo in Carbonite minifigure! The set is comprised of nearly 2,000 pieces and currently has a suggested price of $200. The life of a LEGO collector is rough stuff.

On a related note, Sideshow Collectibles revealed their upcoming Premium Format Boba Fett figure recently. Pre-Orders are already live, though the product doesn't ship until October of 2015. The price range is similar to that of the Batgirl seen above, but the quality looks to make it well worth it. Sideshow has tons more pictures on the product page, so check 'em out!

Just in time for Halloween, the original Predator movie has gotten the Funko ReAction treatment. My favorite of the set is definitely the Invisible Predator. As always, this classically styled figure will only set you back 10 bucks.

It may not be as cute as Luigi, but Nendoroid Solid Snake looks like tons of fun. It can be yours next month for just under $50.

Deadpool's brief stint in the classic blue/yellow X-Men color scheme can now be owned in Pop! Vinyl form. This is a case of something being so gaudy that I can't resist. This guy is set to release before the end of October.

Hot off the press, here's a look at Hasbro's upcoming Transformers Generations Huffer. While I miss the older "basic" or "scout" size class for characters like this, the modern "legend class" has certainly improved over time. This is a remold of the recent legends class Optimus Prime, and the end result looks promising.

Between clips from the show and network details, there's been a lot of attention for the upcoming Transformers: Robots in Disguise series as of late. A handful of the obligatory toys have been revealed, but the only one that really strikes my fancy so far is the deluxe (now called warrior class) Strongarm, a female Autobot whose design I really love.

Finally, Generations Jetfire (as seen last week) is being remolded into quite a badass Thundercracker. Jetfire is a pretty solid toy, but I honestly think this looks even better. If you're unfamiliar, this design is from the IDW comic series. If they can somehow refrain from redecoing it over and over into the other seekers, I'll actually be able to appreciate this much more.

With New York Comic Con 2014 going on, there are plenty of other reveals that also caught my eye. However, I'm going to wait until official pictures are released before diving any deeper. Perhaps the next "Weekly Want" will feature more. Stay tuned!
