Fake Clearance

Well, as a toy addict, I often scour the Earth for deals on more dumb purchases, and it's come to my attention that the toy clearances at Wal-Mart are often...not clearances at all. They put the little red and white clearance tag on, sure, but the price on it is still what you can find the same thing on the regular toy aisles for. What in the balls is this? Are they just trying to dishonestly make people perhaps unaware of regular prices into thinking they've come across some insane bargain? Blargh. Blargh I say!
