Weekly Want May 19-26 feat. Masterpiece Wheeljack, Iron Man, & SDCC Exclusives

Another week. Another wave of want.

Oh no, it's "Weekly Want" time once more! Last week's installment featured some cute Godzilla Minimates, DC Collectibles' animated Batman figures, and so on! On to more pressing matters: let's see what May 19-26 had to offer in the realm of action figure and collectible promotional imagery:

Shogo Hasui's Twitter profile brought us a lovely new image of the upcoming Transformers Masterpiece Wheeljack. He's looking all kinds of fine! The toy is set to ship out in late August.

This fall will see the release of a Star Wars Black Series Scout Trooper with Speeder Bike. I've always loved the design of both components of this set. Even at $40, it will be difficult not to feel tempted to create at least a small trio of these guys.

Hasbro is releasing a great Marvel Universe Infinity Gauntlet SDCC Exclusive set this year. It includes 4 inch figures of Thanos, Nebula, Starfox, and Mistress Death. Thanos is a fairly minor variant and the $75 price tag is rough, but the presentation and Mistress Death make the set worth considering.

In June, Funko is releasing an assortment of blind boxed Mystery Minis Guardians of the Galaxy toys. Fortunately, there are no chase figures, so getting the whole assortment should be easy enough if you decide to pick and choose a few boxes at a time.

Kaiyodo's Revol Mini line is expanding with this killer Marvel Cinematic Universe Iron Man Mark VI figure. Poses on top of poses! The $30 figure should ship out in late August.

NECA's Batman and Joker Scalers are receiving SDCC exclusive black and white redecos. The insanely grumpy looking Batman looks great in this muted deco. These also remind me of the interesting Batman: Black & White comic series.

Mass Effect fans with a spare $300 might want to keep an eye on Gaming Head's Mass Effect 3 Garrus statue. The 1/4 scale piece stands over 20 inches tall and looks to be immaculately sculpted. This is the sort of thing that can really bring a gaming room to life! The release date (early 2015) is a little ways away so there's plenty of time to save up.

That about does it! Be sure to keep an eye out next Tuesday for the first "Weekly Want" of June. Feel free to send recommendations if you'd like! Until then, you can keep up with Castle Geek-Skull's other goings-on through Twitter @castlegeekskull and Facebook!
