Weekly Want April 7-14 with Play Arts Kai Watchmen, ARTFX+ Star Wars, & More!

New feature time! This is the "Weekly Want," showing a small compilation of cool action figures and other geeky goods that had new promotional shots released over the past week. Here are a few of the rad items that caught my eye between April 7th and 14th:

Frame Arms Kotobukiya RF-12B Second Jive

This is the Frame Arms RF-12/B Second Jive 1/100 scale model kit from Kotobukiya. The Frame Arms line features 6-inch basic skeletons with tons of interchangeable armor and weaponry. If you buy several, you can mix and match their parts however you like. On top of it all is some truly impressive articulation and sculpt work!

You can find plenty of other great shots on the RF-12/B Second Jive Gallery from Kotobukiya's Facebook Page.

Han Solo Chewbacca ARTFX Statue

Kotobukiya also released some new photos of their ARTFX+ Star Wars Han Solo and Chewbacca statues. What a handsome pair! Check out Kotobukiya's Facebook update for full details and additional photos.

Watchmen Rorschach Play Arts Kai

It seems Square Enix's Play Arts Kai line is constantly growing, with an endless barrage of must-haves. This figure of the fan-favorite Rorschach from Watchmen is no exception. The latest photos show off an incredibly iconic array of accessories as well as an alternate face. You can check out the rest of the gallery on Rorschach's Play-Asia listing.

Optimus Prime Keepsake Ornament

I'm not the sort to look forward to decorating for Christmas, but I always enjoy seeing what sort of awesome pop-culture stuff finds its way into Hallmark's Keepsake series each year. This gorgeous G1 Transformers Optimus Prime ornament makes the 2014 assortment an instant win for me. I haven't gotten any new Christmas ornaments in several years now. With this baby, that might finally change.

Marvel Legends Infinite Series Nova

Marvel released some new images of the Marvel Legends Infinite Series Guardians of the Galaxy assortment this past week. There are several great figures in the wave, but if I were to only grab one it would be Nova. It doesn't hurt that this design is easily one of my favorites.

Even with rising prices and sometimes limited retail availability, there have been some great toys in the latest Marvel Legends assortments. I'm glad to see the trend continue.

Lifesize Captain America statue Winter Soldier

Finally, Section9 Entertainment is selling a life-size Stealth Suit Captain America statue. LIFE-SIZE! I don't quite have the space for such a giant Cap, but that's not gonna stop me from wanting it. It'd be a great centerpiece for my random collection of Winghead odds and ends. Anyone actually taking the plunge on this will be $3,000 poorer. Geez.

That does it for this installment of "Weekly Want!" If there's anything you feel I shouldn't have left out, let me know about it in the comment section, on Twitter @castlegeekskull, or Facebook!
