The Beast's Fury Team's Stretch Goal Dedication Is Impressive

Animal's Anger.

While the Beast's Fury Kickstarter was a success, stretch goals such as the attention grabbing inclusion of characters like Benny: The Dog of Hype (voiced by Maximilian) and Ego: The Cyber Raptor (voiced by Egoraptor) were unfortunately unfulfilled. In the midst of their post-campaign update, the developers promised to put in the additional work to finish the characters all the same. Maximilian and Egoraptor are also fully on board!

I find the dedication to completing these characters despite the funds not working out quite impressive. It would have been perfectly acceptable for the Beast's Fury team to simply put the Benny and Ego characters on hold for now. If a stretch goal isn't funded, there's obviously no obligation to fulfill it. Going forward regardless shows that the game is being created from a genuine place of passion. (It doesn't hurt that having popular Youtubers in your game can give it an instant audience boost, but hey, the point remains.) It appears these guys are aiming to make this game the best it can be no matter what, and I greatly admire that.

Benny: the Dog of Hype and Ego: The Cyber Ratpor. They gon' fight.

As for Maximilian and Egoraptor? These guys are incredibly busy with daily Youtube channels and tons of other projects, so it's more than admirable that they're staying on to fulfill their roles despite the funding not quite being there. I've earned even more respect for them accordingly. They're both vocal fans of fighting games, so I'm sure their input and characterizations will turn out fantastically!

I'm a big proponent of fighting games myself, so I'm happy to see that Beast's Fury met its initial Kickstarter goal. The developers may have hoped to get more of their stretch goals funded, but their appreciation for what they did get and dedication to doing as much as possible with it is incredibly inspiring. I look forward to seeing how the game progresses from here.
