Bruce Timm and Paul Dini's thrill-seeking Batman villainess Roxy Rocket is set to join the ranks of DC Collectibles' Batman: The Animated Series toyline this fall. While I failed to think of her when compiling a character wislist for the assortment, I couldn't be happier that she's being included. Even better, she actually comes with a full-sized rocket vehicle alongside several other accessories. This opens up a new "deluxe" scale that could have tons of potential moving forward.
Of course, being "deluxe" means the figure comes with a higher price tag. Roxy will retail for $34.99 rather than the standard $22.99. However, it looks like the excellent sculpt is going to be more than worth the price. Check it out!
It's worth noting that DC Collectibles is well aware of the quality issues that marred the first wave of figures. They're apparently abandoning the thin clear plastic from the smaller joints, meaning future releases like The Joker wave and Roxy should fare much better. I'm genuinely looking forward to adding her to my collection.
