Transformers Generation 2 Powerdive Custom by Spurt Reynolds

TFW2005's Spurt Reynolds has brought us this lovely modern take on Transformers Generation 2 Powerdive. Created with a Dark of the Moon Skyhammer body, a Powercore Combiners Smoulder head, and topped off with gorgeous paint work, this is as cool of a Powerdive as you could hope for. Check out the original thread in TFW's Radicons section HERE for more photos. If you're a member, be sure to give your feedback!

Custom Transformers Classics Depth Charge

This Custom Transformers Classics Pre-Beast Mode Depth Charge comes to us from TFW2005's deliciouspeter. It uses the base mold from Transformers Generations Scourge and a Hunt for the Decepticons Terradive head, and some lovely paint work. Genius! It's a great idea and the end result looks amazing. If you'd like to check out the other photos, check out deliciouspeter's thread in TFW2005's Radicons section HERE, and be sure to give him some love!

Saturday

Custom Transformers Classics Wasp

From TFW2005's Shinobitron, this is a custom Transformers Classics Wasp, clearly based on the character that eventually became Waspinator in Transformers Animated. Animated Wasp initially shared a body type with Bumblebee, so it's only fitting that this would be true for a "Classics" version as well! Great idea!

If you'd like to see the rest of the pictures, car mode included, check out the original thread in TFW2005's Radicons section HERE. If you're a member, don't forget to tell Shinobitron what you think of his work!

Transformers Dark of the Moon Megatron in G1 Colors

This custom Transformer toy from TFW2005's Solrac333 shows us Dark of the Moon Megatron in Generation 1 colors. Different from the G1 style DOTM Megs by frogDNA in that it relies solely on color to provide the homage, but still fairly easy on the eyes. It's certainly more interesting to look at than the drab colors found on the toy straight from the box! If you want to see the rest of the images of this custom, alt mode in tow, check out the original TFW2005 Radicons thread HERE!

Custom Transformers Generations Robots in Disguise Scourge (Black Convoy)

Whether you want to label it Transformers Classics, Generations, or Reveal the Shield, this custom Robots in Disguise Scourge (or Car Robots Black Convoy) update by TFW2005's Jarrod is pure bliss. As seen in the digibash I created when the first image of this mold hit the interwebs, this is the most natural redeco of Reveal the Shield Optimus Prime. Why, you ask?

Ok, time to ramble! RtS Prime was an update of G2 Laser Optimus Prime, which was famously redecoed as an "evil Optimus Prime" in black, teal, and grey five years later for the Car Robots/Robots in Disguise series. Initially called Black Convoy, he would become known as "Scourge" in English speaking countries. Yes, Scourge, but no, not the one you're probably thinking of. But enough of all this historical mumbo jumbo...head on over to the TFW2005 Radicons thread for this beauty to get the full effect!

Now let's hope Hasbro or Takara Tomy gives us an official version of this soon! Until then, I highly suggest picking up the base mold, Reveal the Shield Optimus Prime. It's a damn fine toy! Amazon has one, and some other more recent "Classics style" Transformers, for a decent price (given the eligibility for free shipping):

Giant Transformers Fortress Maximus Custom Figure

Though still a work in progress, this custom Transformers Fortress Maximus by TFW2005's 6leo, complete with Cerebros and Spike headmasters, is looking to be a true thing of beauty. This is gigantic, well sculpted, jaw-dropping goodness at its best. Check out the original thread in TFW2005's Radicons section HERE for the rest of the pictures, battle station mode included!
