Transformers Fortress Maximus Reissue Incoming!

From a new Big Bad Toy Store update we have confirmation that Takara's Transformers Encore number 23 will be none other than Fortress Maximus! Fort Max of course is famously the largest official Transformer toy yet to be made, standing 2 feet tall in robot mode. The toy originally retailed for $100 or so in 1987 upon its original release. Prices for the original in decent condition have been known to go for far, far more than that online and at fan conventions in recent years, so the new reissue price of under $400 is actually fairly refreshing.

If you've been pining for a Fortress Maximus of your own but have been simply unable to afford it - now's your chance! Release is next spring, so start saving those pennies! The April shipment will cost $349.99 - or you can grab one a month earlier for $399.99. If you have the means and need this giant bastard for your collection, this is something you may not want to miss out on. Pre-Orders are available right here on BBTS.

Custom Transformers Classics Fortress Maximus

From TFW2005's chansformers, this is a custom Transformers Classics Fortress Maximus. This is based on the recent TFCon exclusive Stronghold add-on kit from Headrobots that turns your Transformers Universe (2.0) Onslaught into an assimilation of G1 Cerebros, Fortress Maximus' head master. Chansformers took that idea and really ran with it, greatly amplifying the Cerebros/Fortress Maximus likeness. The results are pretty much bad ass.

If you'd like to see the rest of the pictures, tank mode included, check out the original thread in TFW2005's Radicons section HERE. If you're a member, don't forget to tell chansformers what you think of his work!

Giant Transformers Fortress Maximus Custom Figure

Though still a work in progress, this custom Transformers Fortress Maximus by TFW2005's 6leo, complete with Cerebros and Spike headmasters, is looking to be a true thing of beauty. This is gigantic, well sculpted, jaw-dropping goodness at its best. Check out the original thread in TFW2005's Radicons section HERE for the rest of the pictures, battle station mode included!
